I’m Katelyn

Hey sweet friends, my name is Katelyn and I am the founder of Retreats By KS! You may also know me as the size and gender inclusive boudoir photographer behind Katelyn Scott.

I am so damn excited that you are here. It is such an honor that you took the time to come here and explore the possibility of choosing YOU, maybe for the first time in your life.

I created Retreats By KS as a luxury all-inclusive experience that is centered around community while using the art of photography to heal the relationship you have with your body. If we are being real honest, it’s even more than that. I wanted to create a space in this world for people like us. An empowered space to rock the bikini, learn about embracing our bodies, growing, building community, eating delicious ass food and doing it in luxury and style. We can have our cake (handmade by the incredible chef on site) and eat it too.

A little about me….I have been a full time photographer since 2016 and have dedicated myself solely to boudoir since 2018. I wanted to create a space where I could help human’s experience their beauty through the eye of my lens and every single day I get to do that. We don’t just wake up one day and feel flawless in our skin. It takes time, education, tools, encouragement, a support team and a will to change the narrative around our bodies. I use photography as a stepping stone along that path.

I am a firm believer that all bodies are beautiful works of art. It is our job to go forth and create. Seize life by the horns. Eat the incredible food. Swim naked under the stars. Build bonds with other people who are walking the same path. Create memories that you will cherish for the rest of your life and choose to join in when sitting on the sidelines feels the safest. We learn and grow in the uncomfortable bits and I am honored to help you walk that path. Join me as you step into your power and walk the path you deserve. You are worth it, I promise.
